1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and GroomWorth ("GroomWorth", "we", "us") for using the GroomWorth app and groomworth.com (together, "GroomWorth"). By creating an account or using GroomWorth, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

2. What GroomWorth does

GroomWorth is a tool for pet groomers. It works out suggested prices from the hourly rate you set and the time you expect a groom to take, records the grooms you do, and shows what your time earned.

Its figures are calculations from what you enter, not advice. GroomWorth isn't financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. You decide what to charge, and you're responsible for your business's prices, taxes and records.

3. Your account

• You must be an adult who can enter a binding agreement, and you must use GroomWorth for a business you run or work in.
• Give accurate sign-up information and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• Tell us at support@groomworth.com if you think someone else has got into your account.

4. Your records and your clients' information

What you put into GroomWorth, such as your business details, clients, pets, quotes and grooms, remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide GroomWorth to you.

When you record information about your clients, you're the business collecting it. You're responsible for having their permission and for following the privacy laws that apply to you, in Canada including PIPEDA and, in Québec, Law 25. We handle that information only on your behalf, as our Privacy Policy describes.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• use GroomWorth for anything unlawful, or to store information you have no right to keep;
• try to reach another business's records, or to break, overload or get around GroomWorth's security;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer GroomWorth, except where the law allows it.

6. Price

GroomWorth is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you before they apply to you, and you'll choose whether to subscribe. Ending a paid plan will never, by itself, delete your records. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also governed by their terms.

7. Changes and availability

We're improving GroomWorth all the time, so features may change. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. GroomWorth is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

8. Our responsibility to you

To the extent the law allows, GroomWorth isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and CA$100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

9. Ending

You can stop using GroomWorth and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or GroomWorth at risk, and where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use GroomWorth after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
